During an
extraordinary Cabinet’s meeting on Thursday, February 4th, Health Minister Olexander Kvitashvili, Minister
of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksii Pavlenko, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Andrii Pyvovarsky and Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets announced about their decision to withdraw
their letters of resignation.
In turn,
Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk stressed: "The Government will not tolerate
any political pressure and political discredit on the part of both our coalition
partners and any other political forces."
The Cabinet
of Ministers has determined the principles to follow in its activity: "These
principles were signed by the members of the coalition,
all of them were laid out in paper. We require no declarations, but sticking to
what the society expects from us and the Ukrainian people expect: honesty,
transparency, responsibility. The absence of blackmail, political pressure and horse-trading
under the table for posts of ministers, deputy ministers, heads
of state-owned companies", noted Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
"Exceptionally honest and transparent work. Unity between the
Government, the President and the Parliament. Unity in principles,
values and approaches," stressed the Prime Minister.
The Government
adopted a decision to prepare and promulgate a clear step-by-step Action Plan for
the next twelve months: "The Action Plan envisages the adoption of laws
and their implementation", Arseniy Yatsenyuk summed up.
