Stepan Poltorak tells about LITPOLUKRBRIG history of formation

During
a press conference for foreign and Ukrainian media representatives,
General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak told about phases of the brigade formation
and joint plans on its further operability.
“Together,
over the past year we have made a lot of progress. We have
formed the appropriate conditions for servicemen, defined the brigade location,
organized its logistics, and appointed the brigade leaders. Year of 2015
was important in realization of organizational activities,
in 2016, the units will undergo operational coordination and start command
and staff exercise; in 2017, we should start a brigade
large-scale command. I am sure the brigade will be fully combat-efficient
in 2017,” the Defence Minister stressed.
