Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food: Ukraine is a reliable partner and a guarantor of global food security
On the outcomes of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture 2016 in Berlin (GFFA) “How to feed our cities? Agriculture and rural areas in an era of urbanisation” there was announced the joint communiqué, which became the main concluding document of the event.
In the joint statement the Ministers of Agriculture declare they regard it their duty to strive to create the political, economic and social framework for productive and sustainable agriculture, efficient and reliable supply and value chains, vibrant rural areas.
"Ukraine fully supports the final communiqué of the Forum. We are ready to apply the provisions of the communiqué to pursue a consistent national policy in agriculture sector", stressed Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksii Pavlenko in his speech at the 8th Summit of Agriculture Ministers in the framework of the Global Forum.
