"Ukrainian
gas storage facilities have about 13 billion cubic meters of gas. This
is 2.3 billion more than last year," underlined Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk in the Ten
Minutes program on Sunday, 10 January.
"We have
accumulated enough of gas," he stressed.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk emphasised that Ukraine
stopped purchasing Russian gas: "On January 1, they issued an invoice with
the price of gas at $212 per thousand cubic meters. We
do not buy gas in Russia, because we buy gas in the European Union cheaper than
Russia offered us. The
average cost of purchasing gas in the European Union is about $200."
