December 29, 2015, in Starobilsk Luhansk region broadcasting of IRTA channel was renewed on 53th TV channel. The channel renewed its broadcasting pursuant to the decision of the Commission on ensuring the stable functioning of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting system under the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.

The transmitter, which was received from the Republic of Lithuania, was used and antenna- feeder path was made  from equipment, which was provided by the broadcasting company.

Note that this is the sixth transmitter that BRT Concern installed for "IRTA" channel during the last two months in the Luhansk region.

Recall that in late December 2015, BRT Concern has launched a digital package with 6 Ukrainian TV channels that can be available also in Donetsk. Now residents of Donetsk, Volnovakha and surrounding areas have access to the Ukrainian TV in digital format.

MIP, through joint efforts in the framework of the Commission, will expand the geographic coverage of Ukrainian TV channels in ATO area.
