Hennadii Zubko says RSAs have to meet requirements of decentralization
Decentralization
reform, implemented by the Ministry of Regional Development, needs an appropriate
system of local governance on the ground. This was stated by Vice Prime
Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities
of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko
during the session of the Government.
"We have
already prepared two draft resolutions of the Government, which will provide a
concrete understanding of the functions of regional and local administrations
and determine how they will communicate with every ministry," Hennadii Zubko informed.
According to him,
after the adoption of amendments to the Constitution in terms of
decentralization and on the basis of this concept it will be possible to form
executive committees of local governments.
"In the
second draft of the resolution we propose to bring the number of employees of
public administrations in line with the number of people living in a particular
area," he said.
