The Government considered today issues of establishment of Ukrainian-German intergovernmental commission

Today at
the Government session there has been approved a composition of the Ukrainian
part of a Ukrainian-German Commission on cooperation in the matters of Germans residing
in Ukraine.
After
consultations with the German side regarding the restoring the
intergovernmental Ukrainian- German Commission on issues relating to deported
Germans returning to Ukraine (1992-1999), legal basis of activity of which is
the Agreement between Ukraine and the Federative Republic of Germany on
cooperation in the matters of German citizens residing in Ukraine since
September 3, 1996, the Government adopted a decision to set up the
Ukrainian-German intergovernmental commission and approved the composition of
the Ukrainian part of the Commission.
