If the Parliament of Ukraine adopts Governmental bills on decentralization, it will afford to simplify a mechanism of providing public services to the citizens of Ukraine and to allocate additional funding to local authorities, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday, 26 November.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Parliament for "the absolutely constructive work to ensure the adoption of laws on decentralization and devolution of authorities to local governments".

"This will arrange an additional resource to local authorities, and will, in the first place, enable people to avoid standing in queues, travelling from district to the regional center, paying bribes, but to obtain the necessary certificate or permit quickly and wasting no time", said Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
