Through November 9-13, Minister of Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko is to stay on a working visit in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China, where he is to participate in the World Bank Seminar “Social Protection and Urbanization”. The event is aimed at reviewing the emerging urban social safety net programs, exchange of information among the government on the development of social assistance programs and exchange of experience in holding reforms in social area.

The Minister of Social Policy is scheduled to make a statement on peculiarities of social support in Ukraine.

Moreover, Minister of Social Policy Pavlo Rozenko and Director of the Public Social Assistance Department Vitalii Muzychenko are to take part in the discussion how to improve mechanisms of social protection of vulnerable population, in particular of low-income families to help them pay for utility services and energy.

In general, the Forum gathered about 300 participants – ministers, mayors, NGO representatives engaged in social protection from all over the world.
