Prime Minister of Ukraine met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy

On Tuesday, October 27, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Paolo Gentiloni.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk accesses the support of Ukraine by Italy, being a member of the EU and G7, as of great value.

"I commend the ratification by the Italian Parliament of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union," he said.

The sides discussed economic cooperation between the two countries, in particular, holding of the Ukrainian-Italian Council on economic, industrial and financial cooperation which is due to meet today in Kyiv.

Paolo Gentiloni evaluated the efforts of the Government to pursue large-scale reforms. He stressed that in the recent developments when it is crucial to overcome serious external threats, the Government of Ukraine manages to implement reforms and reboot the economy: "It is a great challenge, but we support you".
