MIP together with the Content analysis Center presented a free tool of media monitoring for Ministries' press services

On 7 October, in "Ukrinform" news agency during the roundtable meeting the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine together with the Content analysis Center presented a free tool of media monitoring for Ministries’ press services, which is available for use free of charge.

Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, with a purpose to monitor information in local and foreign media, cooperates with NGOs who are willing, free of charge, to provide the necessary tools for media monitoring to corresponding central government agencies for media contacts. One of such organization is the Content analysis Center.

Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Artem Bidenko at the roundtable meeting addressed to the representatives of the Ministries’ press services: "Getting monitoring, including criticisms about the department, and having analyzed it one can effectively correct mistakes and highlight the work of central authorities from a more positive point of view, as well as respond to the criticism in a timely manner. Therefore, the question of monitoring is extremely important and necessary, because, first of all, it is turnsole of work of your departments".

Content analysis Center, in particular Oleksandr Marikovskyi , during the roundtable meeting presented a tool for media research, which will allow to monitor on free basis covered information in the media about the department as a whole. "Quality monitoring, content analysis and timely response to critics leads to the formation of positive image of the state," As a result of the event the parties decided to hold training for press services on the use of the presented tool for media monitoring, in the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
