PM says political force that delegated its representative to Government or central executive body must bear political responsibility
Arseniy Yatsenyuk advocates political responsibility of the
political forces elected by the people of Ukraine, "Those political force
that won an election, became a member of the coalition, delegated its
representative either to the Government or in a central executive body must bear
political responsibility," Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy
Yatsenyuk stressed this at a meeting with members of
the Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations held on
Wednesday, September 16.
The PM has
highlighted that if someone does not cope, a political force should shoulder responsibility
and thus either withdraw or replace them [its representatives – ed.], and then voters
will assess in elections achievements of every political force.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk reminded that Ukrainian Government was formed by five
political parties: "But we manage to find a compromise within the Government."
"Unfortunately, there is no such compromise in the Parliament," he
pointed out.
The Prime
Minister dwelt on the need to reform the civil service: "This, of course,
takes time, but it is one of our main objectives."
He also noted that the Government launched a training system for civil servants and asked the EU to increase support in respect of benefits for civil service specialists.
