Arseniy Yatsenyuk held a meeting with Foreign Minister of Denmark Kristian Jensen

On Tuesday, 15 September, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark Kristian Jensen, who is paying a working visit to Kyiv.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk expressed gratitude for the and effective support from the Danish partners in the implementation of reforms in Ukraine, as well as humanitarian and financial assistance provided to our country which includes deliveries of medicines, rehabilitation of children of ATO participants and temporarily displaced persons.

Kristian Jensen noted the substantial progress of Ukraine on a broad agenda of internal transformations and economic reforms. Moreover, he accentuated the success in establishing a modern European–like patrol police.

The Foreign Minister of Denmark reassured of a strong position of support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. He noted that today there has come the high hour for Europe: either law or force will reign.

The sides discussed the state of implementation of the Minsk agreements, the hot issues the EU participating states face due to migrant influx from Syria and the Middle East. Another topic for consideration was bilateral cooperation in the international arena – in the framework of the UN, the EU and other international organizations.
