"To complete a prosecution reform and adopt the law on the State Investigation Bureau (SIB) prove necessary in order to complete retrofitting of the entire law enforcement system,” said the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk during the report of the Cabinet of Ministers on its activities on Friday, August 28.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the parliamentary coalition, who supported the law on the national police and appealed to the coalition’s members with a request to finalize reforming of the law enforcement system.

"We won’t be able to ensure nomocracy, public order and the fight against crime, unless the State Investigation Bureau is set up, unless competence of investigating agencies is changed, and, in general, unless all law enforcement agencies and special status bodies, such as the Security Service of Ukraine, the General Prosecutor's office, the future SIB, the National Police, distribute the powers and strengthen responsibility in curbing crime and corruption", said the Prime Minister.
