Dmytro Vovk held a working meeting with representatives of U.S. Energy Department and European Commission

Chairman of the National Commission exercising the state regulation in the energy sector and utilities Dmytro Vovk held a working meeting with representatives of the U.S. Energy Department and the European Commission.

During the meeting were discussed the following issues:

- Sustainable getting through the heating period;

- Existing approaches to tariffs;

- The need to ensure settlement of market participants.

The meeting was attended by Senior Advisor to the Energy Secretary William Bryan, Deputy Director of the U.S. Energy Department William Hederman and European Commission Director-General of Energy Johannes Baur.

At the end of the meeting, Commission’s Chairman Dmytro Vovk thanked those present and expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation in the framework of the National Emergency Plan in the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine in 2015-2016.
