Arseniy Yatsenyuk is on a working visit to Canada

On Tuesday, July 14, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk is on a working visit to Ottawa.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine is going to meet with his Canadian counterpart Stephen Harper.

In framework of the working visit, Ukraine’s and Canada’s Trade representative are to sign a document on the completion of negotiations on a free trade zone between the two countries.

The terms of a draft FTA between Ukraine and Canada provide, in particular, the deepening of trade and economic cooperation, in particular as regards trade of industrial and agricultural goods, intellectual property protection, regulation of public procurement.

Moreover, in the framework of his visit to Ottawa, Arseniy Yatseniuk will meet with representatives of Canadian business circles and leaders of the Ukrainian community in Canada.

Yesterday, the Prime Minister of Ukraine was in Washington, where he met with U.S. President Barack Obama and Vice President Joseph Biden.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk and members of the Government of Ukraine participated in the first U.S.-Ukraine Business Forum.

On Wednesday, July 15, Arseniy Yatsenyuk will pay a working visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Arseniy Yatseniuk is to have a meeting with Prime Minister of Great Britain David Cameron, during which it is planned to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation between the two countries in trade and the possibility of attracting British investments into the Ukrainian economy.
