Ukraine triggers new transparent principles of providing airline services

New rules of exploitation of Ukraine’s air routes have become valid. These envisage shortening requirements taken into account in the process of decision-making, a more transparent procedure and compliance with world practices.

Under the updated procedure, which was introduced by the State Aviation Service of Ukraine, granting authority to provide air services is to be held on a more transparent basis, as compared to previous versions of the set of rules, and to harmonize with best international practices.

Pros of the document include reduced number of conditions accounted for in the decision-making, high attention to the safety and punctuality criteria being fundamental for passengers.

The State Aviation Service of Ukraine accentuate they were trying to meet the growing demands of the air transport market and believe air companies will find it easier and more understandable to operate in Ukraine.
