Aivaras Abromavicius takes cognizance of reforms implementation in Odesa region
Minister of
Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius reviewed the implementation and effectiveness
of reforms and improvement of the business climate in the region during his
working trip to Odesa on June 2. At
the meeting with the Minister grain traders and other businessmen have
confirmed that government deregulation steps are noticeable.
"Time is
running out, the business is looking forward to positive changes. We
believe that it is not enough to just enact legislation, it should be properly
implemented. So,
my task, task of my deputies, other ministers is to travel to the regions and check
what is happening there," Aivaras Abromavicius.
In the framework
of the visit the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine along with
Infrastructure Minister Andrii Pyvovarskiy
took part in the Forum "Implementation of global logistics strategies in
international traffic", visited Odessa Commercial Sea Port to see how changes
work in practice, also met with Lithuanian colleagues and hold a discussion
with representatives of the Odessa business.
Rules of the game
should be transparent, clear and equal for all, the Minister noted.
"My approach: the whole Ukraine shall become a huge free economic zone with attractive conditions for doing business", Aivaras Abromavicius emphasized.
