Defence Ministry says procedure of issue of ATO participant certificates is simplified
In order
to reduce the period of issue of the status of participant
of combat operations, the Defence Ministry of Ukraine issued the
Order No.200 dd May 7, 2015 (registered
in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine No.531/26976 dd May 14, 2015), as required by the
President of Ukraine.
According to the
document, the appropriate commissions which will consider the materials in order
to issue the status of participant of combat operations are established
within the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, the General Staff
of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Ukrainian Army Commands, and
Regional and Kyiv City Military Commissariats.
This procedure
will considerably reduce the period of issue of status of participant
of combat operations to servicemen and employees of the
Ukrainian Armed Forces who participated in the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO).
