Arseniy Yatsenyuk: Companies of Firtash, Lyovochkin illegally use state-owned gas distribution networks, so they have to pay money for it

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk has instructed the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Volodymyr Demchyshyn to develop a corresponding Government act, which will force private companies to pay for the use of gas distribution networks.

On Thursday, may 14, at the meeting of the Cabinet of the Ministers Arseniy Yatsenyuk noted that the Western partners of Ukraine welcome the energy reform, including the adoption of a Government-initiated Law of Ukraine on the gas market.

He recalled that private companies of Firtash, Lyovochkin illegally use state-owned gas distribution networks, and they have to pay money for it, as provided by the law.

The Head of the Government addressed to Volodymyr Demchyshyn: “I ask you to prepare the act of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to restore order in this sector.”
