Volodymyr Demchyshyn participates in CERAWeek-2015 Energy Conference
Minister of Energy
and Coal Industry of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchyshyn is on a working visit to Houston (USA), 20-24
April, 2015, in order to participate in CERAWeek-2015 Energy Conference.
In the framework
of this event Volodymyr Demchyshyn
with CEOs of leading international energy companies took part in the energy
panel.
Members of the
energy panel discussed current issues of global gas market development. Special
attention has been paid to the situation on the markets of the Asian continent,
Europe and the United States in the context of potential expansion for multilateral
mutual cooperation.
In his speech, Volodymyr Demchyshyn thoroughly informed on resource and technological potential of Ukraine in the energy sector and stressed the importance of modernization and development of Ukraine's gas transportation infrastructure for the stability and sustainability of the European energy market.
