Organizing Committee to prepare to mark the 70th anniversary of victory over Nazism in Europe set up

There has been established an Organizing Committee on preparation and celebration in 2015 of the 70th anniversary of victory over Nazism in Europe and the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. A relevant Order of the Cabinet of Ministers was adopted on 8 April 2015.

The co-chairs of the Organizing Committee have been appointed the Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.

Implementation of the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is expected to ensure organization and celebration of the events to mark in 2015 the 70th anniversary of victory over Nazism in Europe and the 70th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, to pay the tribute to t he veterans, to commemorate their heroism and sacrifice, promote the patriotic education of youth, the unity of the Ukrainian people.
