Arseniy Yatsenyuk appeals to Prosecutor General to investigate facts of allegations by suspended SFI chairman with participation of international experts. PM and Gov't members resolute to give any testimony

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk appealed to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine to investigate allegations made by suspended chairman of the State Financial Inspection Mykola Gordienko against the Government of Ukraine with participation of international experts.

The Prime Minister announced at the Cabinet’s meeting on Monday, March 23.

"The corrupt officials, who after the start of an official investigation against them - like the Chairman of the State Financial Inspection, who has been under an official investigation - make groundless false political statements about the alleged corruption in the Government," he stressed.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk informed that today he had officially appealed to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine “to launch an investigation into the charges of the dismissed chairman of the State Financial Inspection".

"Taking each point of the allegations expressed against the Government, I, personally, and the members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine are resolute to give any testimony," said Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

The Prime Minister stressed that to ensure the objectivity of any investigations the Government offers the prosecutors to attract international experts.
