Hennadii Zubko discussed with Director of the Energy Community Secretariat Janez Kopac cooperation in energy efficiency

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko discussed with the Director of the Energy Community Secretariat Janez Kopac the state cooperation in energy efficiency and renewable energy development.

During the meeting the sides stressed the importance of bringing the legislation of Ukraine to compliance with the EU Directives and requirements of the Energy Community.
Janez Kopac stressed that the Energy Community is determined to provide technical assistance to Ukraine in the preparation and development of legislation in accordance with the requirements of the European Union in the field of energy efficiency.

"Ukraine is interested in receiving advisory assistance from the Energy Community in the search for optimal solutions in energy efficiency," said Hennadii Zubko.

"We are well aware that the path to Ukraine's energy independence is complex, but we should pass it as soon as possible", he added.
