Ministry of Social Policy and TIKA sign Protocol of intent on cooperation

On January 30, there has been signed a Protocol of intent on cooperation between the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Coordination Office in Ukraine of a Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency within the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Turkey(TIKA).

The parties agreed to collaborate in the framework of the Project to support areas of healthcare and social services aimed at improving social infrastructure and providing aid to social facilities through the implementation of international technical assistance projects and programs.

The details regarding the budget and the activities carried out according to the aforesaid Project in the framework of separate projects and programmes upon agreement between the parties shall be settled through bilateral negotiations and signing of relevant contracts.

The Protocol shall enter in force from the signing date and will be valid for five years.

On behalf of the Ministry of Social Policy the Protocol was signed by the Deputy Minister for European integration Serhii Ustymenko, from the TIKA – TIKA Program Coordinator for Ukraine Haci Bayram Bolat.
