Hennadii Zubko: An issue of including Avdiivka and the nearby settlements into ATO zone will be solved until January 26

The Government in synergy with the SSU is working on an issue to include Avdiivka and other nearby settlements into the list of areas of the ongoing anti-terrorist operation. Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadii Zubko announced on January 22 in Kharkiv.

The approved propositions will be submitted to the Government to consider until January26, he informed.

Moreover, the official drew attention to the events in Avdiivka. According to him, the terrorists have already made several attempts to halt the life support systems.

As was reported, at the Government’s session on January 21, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed that "the Russian terrorists have intensified their attacks", in particular, there is "a barrage of fire on Avdiivka". The main target of the Russian terrorists in Avdiivka, according to the Head of Government, is one of Europe's largest coking plants.
