Minister of Information Policy Yuriy Stets met with Robert Bole, Director of Global Strategy of US Broadcasting Board of Governors

Minister of Information Policy Yurii Stets met with Robert Bole, Director of Global Strategy of US Broadcasting Board of Governors, which is an independent U.S. Federal Agency overseeing all U.S. civilian international media.

The parties discussed peculiarities of the information policy on condition of an open aggressive propaganda on the part of the Russian Federation in the global and Ukrainian dimensions and determined cooperation priorities for the coming period.

The Minister of Information Policy informed his American counterparts about the primary steps the Ministry takes in the area of information security, mechanisms to inform the population in the East of Ukraine and prospects of development of Ukrainian information product on the territory of the Russian Federation and all around the globe.

The Ministry chaired by Yurii Stets will prepare a comprehensive list of propositions to the American party targeting to hold consultations and form an information policy strategy in Ukraine and the Ukrainian broadcasting abroad.

"We are grateful to the United States of America for the assistance rendered to Ukraine and the Ukrainian citizens in their struggle for independence. I believe that in close cooperation we will win one battle after another in the information war imposed by Russia," the Minister said.

He stressed that one of the key messages of the Revolution of Dignity was the slogan "Together we are strong", today it is as crucial as never before.
