Germany to share its experience with Ukrainian partners in the creation of the cooperative movement
In
the framework of a two-day visit to Germany, Minister of Agrarian and Food Ihor
Shvaika attended
Germany’s marketing organisation Landgard, one of the largest players in the European market,
and got acquainted with the work of one
of the farms.
According to Managing Director of Landgard Marcus Zender, the company purchases 80% of
fruit and vegetables and is very interested in Ukraine's export potential of this product. Also the representative
of the German company expressed readiness to provide Ukraine
with the experience in the creation of the
cooperative movement.
"Historically, the
Ukrainian market is currently quite
unknown to us. Therefore,
I would like to learn more about export
opportunities in your country in
terms of its commitment to European
integration, the conformity of
products grown with European
standards", Marcus Zender said.
At
the same time,
Minister Ihor Shvaika stressed
that Ukraine has all opportunities for
enhanced cooperation with German partners.
