Ihor Shvayka met with Ambassador of Austria to Ukraine

Ihor Shvayka held a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Austria to Ukraine Wolf Dietrich Heim.

During the meeting, in particular, the interlocutors discussed the state of preparation for the CEI Ministerial Conference, which is due on October 9 in Vienna.

The Ambassador evaluated the capacity of the agricultural sector of Ukraine and the active work led by the Ukrainian side to raise energy independency of our state.

In turn Minister Ihor Shvayka promised he would initiate a bilateral meeting to tackle bioenergy independence issues.

“Our goal is to become stronger, to find new predictable partners in order to take necessary measures called to prevent the global food crisis, to facilitate the development of energy efficiency and ensure food security,” summed up Minister Ihor Shvayka.
