Law enforcement agencies to make legal assessment of RRT takeover

"There has occurred an illegal takeover of the company. The leaders, who previously headed the company, have decided they wanted to return control of it. Just in these days, when the pre-election campaign has triggered," said Director General of the RRT [Radio and Television Broadcasting and Communications] Olexandr Pivnyuk at a press conference at the Government House on September 29.

The Director-General also stressed that despite the provocations and difficult situation in the management of the Company, the employees continue their work to maintain communication, broadcasting and perform their duties.

Moreover, he informed on September 25, 2014 the congress of judges decided that independent administration of justice is considered impossible in the territory, controlled by terrorists.

I think that today the register of criminal proceedings will be filled with the record on the beginning of the criminal proceedings against illegal actions of a group of individuals who are trying to illegally capture the company Radio and Television Broadcasting and Communications, that plays a strategic role in transmission of television and radio signals all over Ukraine", - said Anton Herashchenko.
