Agriculture Ministry: USAID supports the development of Ukrainian agricultural sector

Administrator of the Agency for International Development (USAID) Rajiv Shah has high hopes for the development of Ukrainian agricultural sector in order to ensure global food security. This is stated in the letter that the Administrator of USAID has sent to the Minister for Agriculture and Food Ihor Shvayka.

According to Rajiv Shah, the Agency along with its partners and the Government of Ukraine will continue to support Ukraine's agricultural sector, which has a huge potential. Such cooperation, according to Rajiv Shah, will provide further comprehensive economic development and strengthening of global security in the food supply. Also, the USAID’s Administrator expressed hope for a future meeting with Ihor Shvayka.
