Situation at the state border

The border guard units keep guarding and defending the state border of Ukraine under extremely complex and strenuous conditions at the Ukrainian-Russian border, caused by military aggression of Russia against Ukraine.

During the day, the situation was characterized by further violation of the ceasefire by gunmen, imposed by the initiative of the President of Ukraine; continuation of redeployment of Russian Federation Armed Forces and illegal armed groups with the increasing of their combat effectiveness.

Russian Federation continues conducting aerial reconnaissance using UAVs. Two UAVs have been detected: one -over Mariupol and another- on the administrative line with Crimea. Moreover, two aircrafts of the Russian Armed Forces have been revealed. They maneuvered along the coastline at high altitude in the direction of "Sedove – Melekyne” and then returned to Russia.
