Gov't approved key bill in the sphere of combating money laundering and financing terrorism

On 10 September, 2014, at its session the Cabinet of Ministers of
Ukraine approved the draft law of Ukraine "On prevention and counteraction
to legalization (laundering) of the proceeds from crime, financing terrorism and
financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction".
The bill is aimed at the implementation by Ukraine its
commitments on the introduction into the national legislation of the FATF Standards
and understandings in the
framework of the Stand-By Agreement (SBA) with the International Monetary Fund.
The adopted Law will
be the proof of Ukraine's aspirations to integrate with the European community.
