Ihor Shvayka met with Ambassador of Palestine to Ukraine

On August 19, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Ihor Shvayka met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine to Ukraine Mohammed Qasem Assad Alassad.

Mohammed Qasem Assad Alassad stressed the importance of deepening relations between Ukraine and Palestine, in particular, in the development of bilateral trade. The Ambassador also expressed wish to adopt the Ukrainian experience in the agribusiness sector, research sector, as well as disaster management. In turn, the Minister Ihor Shvayka declared readiness to engage in the constructive dialogue, thus helping to increase the volumes of trade in agricultural products.

"We are ready to establish cooperation with Palestine in the field of agriculture. I am convinced that our cooperation will be fruitful and beneficial to both parties," said Ihor Shvayka during the meeting.

At the end of the event the sides agreed to prolong the dialogue on the deepening bilateral relations between Ukraine and Palestine in the economic sphere.
