Ukrtransgaz launches testing of reverse natural gas flows from Slovakia
From August 16, 2014 the operator of Ukrainian
gas transportation system of PJSC "Ukrtransgaz"
jointly with "Eustream" have launched testing
of a reverse natural gas flows from Slovakia.
According to the operative data of the Central
Dispatching Department of "Ukrtransgaz",
during the test deliveries there will be pumped 2 million cubic meters of gas
daily.
"Timely testing process of supplying natural
gas from Slovakia is another proof of high qualification and professionalism of
our employees. I am sincerely grateful to everyone who paid efforts to ensure
realization of this project. Ukrtransgaz will have a
lot of strategic objectives ahead, but I am convinced that with joining efforts
we will be able to comply with them", - commented the Chairman of PJSC
"Ukrtransgaz" Board Ihor
Prokopiv.
The previous week PJSC "Ukrtransgaz" at the compressor station Uzhgorod completed
the full complex of works to provide the technical opportunity to receive
natural gas from Slovakia. The work was held according to the schedule and at
the company's funding.
As was reported on April 28, 2014 PJSC "Ukrtransgaz" and Eustream company signed a Memorandum of understanding on the reverse
gas deliveries to Ukraine.
