Ukraine and the Netherlands signed an Agreement on International Mission for Protection of Investigation

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Frans Timmermans and Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Volodymyr Hroysman signed an Agreement on the International Mission for Protection of Investigation. The Mission shall be established to facilitate the recovery of remains and the conduct of the investigation regarding the accident of the downing of a civilian aircraft, Malaysian Airlines flight MH 17 on July 17, 2014

The Mission shall consist of military and non-military personnel from the Netherlands and Australia and other States whose nationals were on flight MH17 as appropriate.

The Agreement is planned for ratification at the Ukrainian Parliament on July 31.

On July 24 and 25, Ukraine adopted a number of legal acts with the Netherlands, including the Memorandum of understanding concerning the investigations regarding the accident of the downing of a civilian aircraft, Malaysian Airlines flight MH 17 on July 17, 2014 and an agreement about giving the Netherlands the right to investigation.
