PM met with a delegation of the European People's Party

On Wednesday, July 23, Ukrainian PM Arseniy Yatsenuyk met with a delegation of the European People's Party headed by President of the European People’s Party Joseph Daul, EPP Group Chairman in the European Parliament Manfred Weber, Chairman of the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament Elmar Brok.

The Prime Minister highly assessed the principled position of the European Parliament and the EPP Group in support of the European future for Ukraine. Arseniy Yatsenyuk informed about the Government's decision to set up a committee on sanctions against individuals and entities of the Russian Federation that are supporting terrorism on the Ukrainian territory.

The Prime Minister also discussed with members of the European Parliament economic and social aspects of the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk urged the MPs to promote the successful preparation and holding of this autumn donor conference aimed at supporting Government’s efforts in order to restore the infrastructure destroyed by terrorists as well as to implement structural economic reforms.
