Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs meets with Director of the Directorate General of Programmes of the Council of Europe

On July 23, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya met with Director of the Directorate General of Programmes of the Council of Europe Verena Taylor.

The sides discussed the current issues of cooperation between Ukraine and the Council of Europe, particularly, regarding the implementation of existing and preparation of new Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine for the period until 2017.

Particular attention was paid to the importance of focusing efforts of the Council of Europe on assistance in implementing urgent reforms initiated by the President and the Government of Ukraine. The Council of Europe side expressed the readiness to engage resources with aim to enhance program activities for Ukraine.
