“We’re
working now in extremely high pace around the clock on the case of Malaysian Arlines Boeing 777 shot down in Donetsk region”, said
Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin
at a briefing at the Government House on Thursday, 17 July.
The Minister expressed the deepest condolences to relatives and friend
of everyone, who was on board of this plane. “It’s, indeed, an extremely tragic
event, we’re all experiencing now. It’s the third case in recent days after two
Ukrainian planes – Antonov-26 and SU-25 shot down from the Russian territory”,
emphasized Pavlo Klimkin.
He reminded that Ukrainian
PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk
ordered to create a special governmental commission to investigate the
circumstances of this tragic case.
He also emphasized
that experts involved in the investigation of this case are working around the
clock. Moreover, according to the Foreign Minister, the MFA will work closely
with the Emergency Ministry.
“In parallels, we’ve created in the
MFA a special line for anyone who would like to get more information on that,”
he added.
