Ministry of Economic Development plans series of seminars on public procurement
On June 19, 2014, the Scientific Research
Economic Institute hosted a seminar titled “Realization of the provisions of
the Law of Ukraine On the Public Procurement in
practice” which was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
The event gathered representatives of the
central authorities and the public, and also
international experts in public procurement area.

The participants of the seminar commented principal
provisions of a new redaction of the Law of Ukraine On the Public Procurement,
discussed the most urgent issues of using it and elucidated peculiarities of
informing about public procurement on the website of the Ministry of Economic
Development and Trade taking into account the changes to the legislation. Besides, there was presented prospects of introducing
European standards into the national legislation in the area of public procurement.
With accounting for the importance of
elucidative activity to ensure a clear interpretation of the legislation in
the abovementioned area the Ministry plans to conduct a series of such
seminars. |
