Pavlo Sheremeta: Ukraine furthers course towards implementation of economic reforms

Ukraine continues its course towards implementation of top priority tasks, determined by the Government in order to ensure sustainable economic development and stabilizing of the situation in Ukraine. The Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Pavlo Sheremeta emphasized at a meeting with Ambassador of Great Britain to Ukraine Simon Smith.

“Ukraine furthers the course along the top priority directions among which economic reforms and curbing corruption are the leading ones. In this context enhancement of cooperation with international world organizations, notably with the World Bank, the IMF, the EBRD is viewed significant,” Pavlo Sheremeta said.

Moreover, the Minister expressed gratitude to the British Government for the support and intentions of Great Britain to provide further assistance to Ukraine in the direction of stabilization of the financial and economic system and carrying of systemic economic and social reforms.

“The Government of Great Britain hopes Ukraine will have new economic acquisitions and expresses readiness to provide further assistance to your country,” assured the Ambassador of Great Britain.
