Volodymyr Hroysman and leaders of Luhansk regional council discuss situation within the region and power decentralization prospects

On May 28, in Kyiv the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Building, Housing and Communal Services Volodymyr Hroysman met with head of Luhansk regional council Valerii Holenko, his first deputy Yevhen Kharin and deputy Volodymyr Prystiuk. The meeting was initiated by the representatives of Luhansk regional council targeting to tackle the situation, which occurred in Luhansk region, and possible ways out of it.

In particular, the meting concerned also the prospects of decentralizing power and realization of a local self-government reform, as an actual step in the development of Ukrainian state and, particularly, in the direction of stabilizing the situation in the eastern regions.
