Governmental delegation arrived to Brussels to participate in plenary session jointly with delegation of Board of European Commission

On Tuesday, May 13, a delegation of Ukrainian Government has arrived to Brussels to participate in a plenary session jointly with the delegation of the Board of the European Commission.

The delegation of the Government of Ukraine is represented by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Regional Development, Building, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroysman, Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Maxym Burbak, Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Yuriy Prodan, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Ihor Shvayka, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Pavlo Sheremeta, Finance Minister of Ukraine Olexandr Shlapak, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Deshchytsia, deputy Justice Minister of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka, Ukraine’s Representative to the European Union Kostyantyn Yeliseyev.

The delegation of the Board of the European Commission is represented by the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso, Vice President of the European Commission, EU Commissioner for Transport Siim Kallas, EU Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht, EU Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger, EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Štefan Füle, ED Commissioner for Home Affairs Cecilia Malmström, EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Dacian Cioloş, Deputy Head of Cabinet of the President of European Commission Hugo Sobral, European Commission's press secretary Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, European Commission's Secretary-General Catherine Day, Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia of the European External Action Service Fernández de la Peña.

The agenda of the visit includes signing an Agreement on financing of concluding a deal on the country’s development, a Memorandum of Understanding and a Loan Agreement on rendering to Ukraine macro-financial assistance by the EU in the amount of EUR 1 billion.

Now the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk is having a meeting with the President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso.
