Government addresses to Parliament to pass bills to move to the second stage of liberalization of visa regime with the EU

"We expect the signing of important documents tomorrow in Brussels, including on the allocation of the financial assistance amounting to one billion to Ukraine," said the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk after the meeting with of European Council president Herman Van Rompuy on Monday, May 12.

He recalled that, there is “a historic joint meeting of delegations of the government of Ukraine and the European Commission” in Brussels on May 13.

The Head of Government also informed that he addressed to the Ukrainian Parliament, so that four bills that would give the opportunity to move to the second stage of preparation for the liberalization of the EU visa regime for Ukraine to be passed during tomorrow's session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: "This is the last bastion, which we must be overcome so that Ukrainians can quickly got the right without visas to travel to the European Union".

One of the key laws that should be adopted in the Parliament tomorrow is the draft law on combating corruption: "I appeal to MPs to collect votes and to demonstrate their will regarding the real fight against corruption and to support the government bill".
