Yatsenyuk addressed the Economy Minister Pavlo Sheremeta with a request to hold a
meeting with the administrative staff of the Malyshev
Factory and together with the Defense Ministry submit for considering
by the Cabinet of Ministers a clear proposition on state order for the
current year. Moreover,
the Head of Government commissioned the Minister of Foreign Affairs in
synergy with the Economy Ministry, Defense Ministry and Ukroboronprom
in 10-day’s term to inform the Government on any opportunity to conclude
foreign economic contracts for this factory: “Where we can find additional
markets to ensure supplies of defense products manufactured by Malyshev Factory. At this, they must be qualitative and
competitive and these orders must be fulfilled at once”. “I hope
we are able to find understanding with our western partners so that to
receive additional orders,” he noted. Besides,
according to him, “to get outside financial situation of the factory”: “The
unpaid debts have been accompanying it [factory] for decades”. The Head
of Government emphasized there existed the need to
launch an investment program for the Malyshev
Factory “which could give a clear picture of how to get out of the current
state and how to receive additional orders”. In order to achieve this goal, according
to him, a share of the resource will be invested from the budget, “but the
largest share should be a credit resource in case we see some real projects”.
“I ask
during ten days to report to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine what has
been done and what is needed from the Government,” Arseniy Yatsenyuk
underlined. |
