SBS introduces new mark to deny entry to Ukraine
Due to
the measures taken to ensure national security and targeting to prevent entry
to the territory of Ukraine by radically-minded individuals, who cross the
state border and can possibly participate in anti-Ukrainian rallies, the State
Border Service (SBS) introduces a new mark.
|
On the
initiative of the border department the existing forms of marks that are
fixed in the document another mark is added “Denied of entry to Ukraine”. The
mark will be placed in passports or other documents of foreign citizens or
persons without citizenship, who, on a grounded decision of the authorized
person, an employee of the protective body of the state border, were refused
of crossing via the state border to enter Ukraine’s territory in an order
envisaged by the current legislation. The
innovation will afford to faster identify persons who were denied of entry
via the state border and prevent their repeated attempts to enter Ukraine’s
territory. At this, a decision on establishing legal grounds for crossing the
state border shall be adopted taking into account the previous case of denial
of entry to the territory of Ukraine. |
