discussion forum Agroforum Balticum
in Tartu (Estonia),
the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Igor Shvaika
made a speech on the topic "The development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine."
The Minister outlined
the situation regarding agriculture in Ukraine,
focused on strategic areas of development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine.
Among the latter were identified: creating conditions for businesses of all
types, deregulation, differentiation of the Agricultural Policy to different
types of entities, a comprehensive public-private partnerships, improvement of policies to attract investment in
agriculture, the effective regulation of land relations.
"These are the
basic principles of agrarian policy of all developed countries. They are the
basis of the Common agricultural policy," Igor Shvaika
said.
Also the Minister said:
"In view of the process of further integration of Ukraine into the global food market
main task is to create not by words but in reality, a fair and transparent
business environment. As representatives of the new government, we guarantee
the final eradication of bureaucratic obstacles that can arise in another way.
Here we are ready for drastic steps to further simplification and deregulation
at the appropriate reputation responsibility of investors."
In addition, Igor Shvaika named to participants of the forum principles on
which the External Relations of Ukraine will base in the agriculture. In
particular, this is a guideline to build a common food market, transparency of
information and openness of the domestic market, predictability and
accountability.
"Ukraine
is open to learning and implementation of the best practices of other countries
and the transfer of its personal experience. Ukraine
is also opened to creation in the context of European integration of Ukraine
of the common strategy with the EU on development of relations in the
agricultural market in order to create a global food security," Igor Shvaika added.
