Arseniy Yatsenyuk: After closing the Kurchenko schemes at the customs the State Budget received almost a billion hryvnyas additionally

Due to the fact that the Government has started to settle order at the customs and the Kurchenko scheme meaning customs free import of petroleum products was closed, in April of the current year as compared to April of the previous year the State Budget has gained UAH 835 million additionally,” the Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk emphasized during An Hour of Questions to the Government at the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, April 18.   

“In the previous year the scheme of “the family” stole UAH 835 million due to the absence of clearance and benefits to petroleum clearance. And in the current year in April – plus almost UAH 1 billion, that before were flowing to the pockets and now were sent to the budget,” he emphasized.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk stressed the Government was working on the changes in the tax area directed to shortening of taxes and enlargement of the taxation base, and he invited the Parliamentarians “to vigorously create the new Tax Code of Ukraine in synergy with all business circles, with engagement of all factions”.

The Prime Minister reminded that the Government had taken a decision on the governmental committees which must gather on the eve of every Governmental session: “They are comprised of chairmen of the committees of the Verkhovna Rada and People’s Deputies of Ukraine who wish together with the Government to carry out a single centralized state policy”.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk urged all Parliament’s members from all the factions to participate in sessions of the governmental committees: “Let’s work together for the draft laws adopted in the Parliament would not be of the populist nature, mildly speaking”.
