On April 16, Acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andrii Deshchytsia held a press conference at the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported that Directives for participation in the quadripartite meetings at the level of Foreign Ministers in Geneva were approved at the Government session.

A. Deshchytsia stressed that Ukraine has a clear position on this meeting. First of all, Ukraine will insist that Russia stop to support terrorist groups of armed commandos operating in the Eastern Regions of Ukraine. "In addition, we require that the RF condemn such terrorist acts and withdraw forces that are on the eastern borders of Ukraine," the head of the Foreign Ministry said.

Acting Minister also stressed the importance to Ukraine of revocation by Russia a decision of the Russian parliament to allow the President of Russia to use Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine.

Ukrainian delegation in Geneva will also raise the issue of the withdrawal of Russian troops from Crimea and the abolition of legal decisions on annexation of the Crimea.
