Anatoliy Maksyuta discusses with USAID representatives opportunity of assistance to Ukraine in implementing reforms

Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Anatoliy Maksyuta has met with representatives of the United States Agency for International Development, (USAID), during which the sides discussed the possibility of the Agency to assist Ukraine in the implementation of reforms.

Anatoliy Maksyuta said that as of today a lot of countries and individual organizations are ready to support Ukraine in various areas of reforms. Therefore there is a need for a system of clear coordination of these organizations and donor countries, to the effect of the assistance was as big. Ukrainian party relies on the support of experts USAID.

Also, the First Deputy Minister said that today in Ukraine laws aimed at creating the most comfortable environment for business and attracting investment are being adopted. The adoption of these laws is very important, but more important is their implementation. In this context expert help of the USAID will not be very useful.

"I would really like to see that the deregulation experience substantial positive impact on the economy," Anatoliy Maksyuta said.

He noted that Ukraine today forms a new economy - the economy, which is learning to make money.
